F1 comments Miroslav Sanytrák

The starting grid was dominated by Red Bulls again, although it was F.Alonso of Renault to take the pole position, second Vettel and the third Webber, with the already mentioned Red Bulls. The qualification was pretty dramatic, at first it was stopped for 20 minutes because of F.Massa's crash (currently kept in controlled sleep, his recovery expected to take as much as four weeks), than the timing went down, so the drivers didn't have a clue about their standings till the very last moment. The leader, F.Alonso, started very well. The first lap brought on this standings: Alonso, Webber, Hamilton. On the lap 12, Alonso's wheel is ill fitted and soon just falls off (there were sparks coming out of the car) and Alonso goes to pits once again, but retires anyway after another two laps. On lap 14, J.Button is in the 7th place, having started 8th. On lap 18, L.Hamilton takes the leading position, before the second Webber, who just has had a near collision with exiting K. Räikkönen, who got over him in the very same pit stop.

The freshman Jaime Alguersuari from Spain, filling in for S.Bourdais had a very good debut, though coming last but one, he avoided crash and finished, which counts. He has become the youngest F1 pilot.
Starting grid of Hungarian GP:
F.Alonso S.Vettel
M.Webber L.Hamilton
N.Rosberg H.Kovalainen
K. Räikkönen J.Button
K.Nakajima S.Buemi
J.Trulli R.Barrichello
T.Glock N.Piquet
N.Heidfeld G.Fisichella
A.Sutil R.Kubica
J.Alguersuari
L.Hamilton kept his leading position to the finish without any problems, with K. Räikkönen the second, third M.Webber. It appears that the big teams are closing up on the positions lost at the beginning of the Championship, putting a lot of stress on Brawn GP. Both Button and Barrichello fell down, though Button at least scored some points for the seventh place. The advantage of Brawn GP and Button is still remarkable, but we will see what happens in the next races. The "hot countries" will mean a definite advantage for Brawn GP again and I expect them to keep their leading position. We should also hope that Felipe Massa will take part in the upcoming races, although he is now going through the hardest time of his racing career. Let's wish for him to get well soon.
Classification after 10 races:
1. J.Button 70
2. M.Webber 51,5
3. S.Vettel > 47
4. R.Barrichello 44
