The Czech web got another interesting address devoted to Formula 1 - www.constr_4.com. Miroslav Sanytrák prepares the site together with Luboš Pecháèek, former TV F1 commentator and a respected car designer Václav Král. The authors decided not to compete with established projects, based mainly on hot news and historic statistic (even though this may be found on the site as well), but focused on the construction point of view.
A guest may learn what is a Pitot tube, how does a wingcar look like, why a performance car needs a down-pressure or how a spoiler works. University students will get a chance to present their design ideas on international level. The editor's office also prepared two contests. The first, with a deadline at the end of the next year, aims at enthusiastic photographers worldwide, of whose pictures would be picked up one, best describing some component of F1 or other top series. The second, Climber Of The Year, will award a beautiful cup from the Rückl glass works to the pilot and the team, who reached the best driving and technological progress previous year.
